My 2013 New Years Resolutions!

1.) Become closer with God and stronger in my faith.
2.) Workout everyday and  live a healthier lifestyle! I'm pretty sure I'm anemic, so I'm not getting enough iron and I'm not consuming the right nutrition. I want to tone my body for bikini season!
3.) Be more outgoing in school and gain closer friends in my area.
4.) Get a man! Ayeee! ;)
5.) Gain control of my dermatotillomania .
6.) Give a little more love to my blog every once and a while!

Happy New Years to my followers and subscribers on all my social networks and channel! Thanks for the support and I hope that 2013 brings even more joy and happiness! I'll drink to that!;) Cheers!

Christmas Wish List!

Hey guys!! I thought it would be fun to share what I wanted for Christmas and explain a little about why I really want them. I only want 3 things and they're like the BIG 3 gifts! I also want to note that just because I ask my parents for something, doesn't mean they will get it for me. I'm going out on a limb asking for these gifts. Haha so here we gooo!

Canon PowerShot SX40
$300-$420 (Depends on the store)

A new camera is the gift that I really really want! I currently do not own any camera of my own. I steal my sister's Canon Rebel T3i to do the videos on my Youtube channel. I need a new camera, so that I can be dependent on myself and so that I can become more concise with shooting my videos and uploading them about once a week. What I love about this camera is that it has a FLIPPING viewfinder. With the Rebel T3i it is SOOO difficult to tell if I am in focus or not. I currently use my vanity mirror to see if I'm in focus, and even after I'm done filming, I can see that I'm off focus just a smidgen. It is really annoying. -_- I also have no idea how to edit the settings on the Rebel T3i, and I don't mess with the buttons, because I would not know how to get the settings back to how my sister originally had them. But I digress, hopefully my parents can find it in their hearts to get me this camera.
Sewing Machine
$100-up( For Good Ones!)
(I just chose a random one off google, I do not care what kind. Lol)

I took fashion design when I was sophomore in high school and I have wanted a sewing machine ever since. I started thrifting the summer before my senior year and I have seen many things that I have wanted to cut up and edit with a sewing machine, but WOE IS ME since I do not currently have one. My life would literally change with a sewing machine, I would be playing around with my clothes back and forth. I'm seriously getting giddy just thinking about it! I really want to do a reconstructive fashion lookbook for my channel, so if I had a sewing machine that video would definitely be in the works!

Nissan Altima Coupe
$15000-Up

Can we PLEASE take a second to appreciate how incredibly sexy this car is? I'm not a picky car person, since I've never owned one. But I'm an  18 year old full time college student with a job and I think that speaks for itself when I say I need a car. I got my license in November and since then I have been itching for a new ride. I've wanted this car since the summer for obvious reasons...just look at it! Let's take another second to appreciate how sexy it is shall we?

So those are my BIG 3 gifts! Tell me what you want for Christmas below!!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

New Facial Goodies!

Hey guys! Long time no blog post! School is no joke and I've been putting a lot of my time into studying and doing videos. Hopefully I can do better in the future, so my blog won't be so dead. Alrighty so a few weeks ago my mom and sister gave me a few skin care products that I could try out. One product is a whitener, another is a moisturizer/suncreen, and the other two are just moisturizers.

*TimeBalm Skincare Juniper Oil-Free Face Moisturizer
*Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream
*Dr. Fred Palmer Skin Whitener
*Simple Vital Vitamin Day Cream

This moisturizer also has a very subtle smell. I actually haven't used this one much, because there's no point in mixing a bunch of moisturizers together. [That leads to peeling and I am not about to bring on another problem that I never deal with!] On the bottle it says that it promotes an even complexion, so when I start to get into it a little more, hopefully it will do just that.
This Simple product has an SPF of 15 and it basically works to protect and moisturize your face. It has a very subtle scent that is not overpowering. It doesn't weigh down my face. From what I can tell it is doing the job I need it to do. I'm actually not an out-doorsy kind of gal, so I'm making this judgement from all the times I actually go outside.
Now this product is like my HOLY GRAIL of skin whiteners. For those who don't know I have A LOT of acne scarring, so I'm starting to experiment with skin whiteners and toners, because my skin is looking terrible. I'm trying to repair it as much as I can as I go into my twenties. I apply this last after I do my nightly routine and I go to bed with it. It is a bit greasy, but I just wash it off when I wash my face in the morning. Because I have scars all over my face, I apply it all over my face. My scars have definitely darkened and I wish I had a before and after picture so I can prove to myself that I'm not imagining the results. Because I applied it all over my face the natural skin color did slightly change from my body's skin color. LET ME TELL YOU!! Finding a new foundation that looks natural without being too dark or too light has been absolutely horrible. I would literally sit in Target or Walmart, dab on like 12 different shades, take one home, put it on and go to school, look like an IDIOT, come home, and take it back. One time, I was so embarrassed I had to take it back to the store between one of my classes, because I was so self-conscious. I looked like a ghost one day and an orange bimbo the next. My face color eventually went back to the correct-ish shade and I went back to my old foundation. Also when my face went back to normal, my dark spots didn't! All in all, this product is ahhhmazing, and if you have any scars I would definitely recommend this product.
This Garnier product has the best smell out of all of the products I listed. It's subtle, but also refreshing. I love the coldness feeling it has when I apply it to my face. The texture is like a gel, but looser. Idk how to describe it, but I like the feeling of it. Its only job is to give your face a little moisture, and it definitely feels like it's doing its job.

If you decide to give these products a try, let me know what you think about them!
See you soon in another blog post.

First Day of College: What I Wanna Wear!

For important events in my life, I like to have the outfit picked out ahead of time. When I get excited for something, I tend to be more organized with minor details in my daily life like outfit choices. I haven't decided on an outfit yet, because I have a vision of what I wanna wear. In my vision I've chosen 3 necessary pieces that I don't even own.-_- Lol with that being said, I'm hoping to buy them before tuesday(my first day). For my first day of college I would like to be more casual and not dressy. Absolutely no dresses, no skirts, heels,  etc. I want to look somewhat presentable though, so no sweatpants, tennis shoes, t-shirts(unless it's like a long one with a thin-ish material).etc. I googled some picks on the internet that would be my ideal first day of college outfit..
A top with an accent cut-out like this would
be perfect along with the color since I would
prefer something that would contrast black.
Billabong Bob Marley Live Tank Top - Women's
A top with a thin material and a graphic
             would also be ideal.

My ideal bottom would be leggings,
because they're comfy and I can dress
them casually. It personally irks me
                            when girls wear leggings(unless they're
leather or unless you're a girl without a little
bit of junk in the trunk) with their buttocks
showing. I like to have mine covered, but to
                       each his own.

These bad boys from Target are what I've been
molding my ideal outfit around. They have a hidden high-top
heel and aren't so flamboyant like my Nikes. I love these shoes!
Sadly 2 minutes ago, I found out they were out
of stock. :,( FREAKING WOE IS ME!

So that was my ideal outfit! Hopefully I can find something like this for my first day. If not, high-waisted shorts and a cute shirt never killed anybody. :)

(MOST OF) My Jewelry Collection

I haven't done a legit picture blog post in soooo long. I've just been basically doing video posts. Today I thought it would be a good idea to take pictures of my jewelry since I just purchased a few new pieces. This is not all my jewelry, but I only wanted to include the ones that were on my two jewelry racks. Soo yeahh, enjoy!^^ -Ariel<3

My jacked up ring. I can still make it work. ;)

Stay tuned for new videos and picture blog posts!<3

New Earring/Jewelry Rack!

If you saw my first haul video then you should have saw the dark dark brown metal candle holder that I said I was going to turn into a jewelry holder. I finally got down to spray painting it white to match my furniture! Now all I have left to do is add the jewelry from my old rack.:) -Ariel<3

My Mini Make-Up Collection

Hey guys! I was gonna post this later, but I decided to just post it anyways. This is currently my make-up collection, basically all the make-up I have. It's pretty pathetic compared to the other gurus out there, but I'm  not the richest person right now so I make do with what I have. Lol but anyways I used to ONLY use eyeliner, mascara, and foundation. Then I started to dabble into blush and lipstick and my interest continued to grow. Then I got my hands on a NAKED palette and ever since I have been obsessed with learning about different techniques and different looks that have been floating about on youtube and such. Since my collection is small I wanted to post about it now, so when I come back a year from now I can post a new updated version and show how far I have come from my beginner kit. So enjoy for now! Please ignore my dirty foundation brush!-_- I took pics about 2 mins after I finished my make-up today and I wanted to take pics while it was on my mind. Next year I'll clean up. I promise!
 Box from Target(about $30)

 The inside
 My brushes
 The lips section
The eye section
The bottom of my make-up box. Foundations, concealer and highlighter, powder, my BEAUTIFUL NAKED palette(I'm still in love with it), my mary kay palette, eye primer, and a few nail polishes.(I have more nail polishes than this, but they are scattered around my house.)
I decided to throw in a few of my hygiene products. Lol just for kicks and giggles~

Thank you~

Forever 21 Interview OOTD

Hey guys! So today I had my Forever 21 interview and for some reason I was really nervous. I'm usually okay for interviews, but I think it was because I just really wanted the job I have always wanted to work here even though I have heard some bad things about having a job there. But I just couldn't resist the clothes! I have an extreme weakness to fashion.:( Ahh ok so anyways, the interview went great! There are two bosses so one boss has to pass my application to the other boss, so that I can have ANOTHER interview with her. The process is nerve-wracking. I just want to make some money already! If any of yall have worked at forever 21 or have heard some stories about it, PLEASE leave a comment about your experiences. :) Or tell me what your favorite store is?
Turquoise Clutch from Ross or TJ Maxx (Sorry I honestly don't remember)
 Gladiator Sandals from Love Culture
Earrings from Charlotte Russe (I'm overly obsessed with these earrings!)
My favorite eye make-up look. I wear it almost everyday I go out.
-NYC Eyeliner(Black)
-Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara(Blackest Black)
-Naked Palette Eyeshadow (Virgin; used to outline my lower eyelid and the corner of my eye)
 -Mary Kay Blush (Unknown shade)
-White Skinny Jeans(rolled up) from Kohls
-Black laced shoulder top from Forever 21

Thank you for looking at my OOTD! I hope I get the job! Fingers crossed!:)

My Drill Team Banquet

Okay so this was a VERY exciting day, because I finally got to style my new Yaki Weave! This has been my very first time using weave and I am in love!<3 My average hair length is relatively long and I always get a lot of compliments about it. But over the last summer I went through some "hard times" and a lot of my hair fell out and I pulled it out on accident, so my hair is uneven and damaged as you could imagine. After a year of growing it out, it barely grew to its original length so I caved in and got some weave. Best decision of this year!
*Also my eye makeup was entirely done by my Urban Decay Naked make up palette.
My eyeliner was NYC Eyeliner Liquid(Black) and Avon Glimmersticks(Blackest Black)
My mascara was CoverGirl Lashblast Volume and Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping
My foundation is Loreal Paris True Match(Shade: W7 Caramel Beige)
My lipstick was Maybelline (Very Cherry)
My blush was Mary Kay(Unsure of the shade)

With my senior girls! Most of us have been together for 3 and a 1/2 years, so this was like a parting party for us. Dance was a big part of my life and it is a little sad to see it go. Boohoo:(
I am wearing a dress from Arden B. I got it last fall for about $89, so I'm unsure if it is still in stock online. My shoes are from Target and I got them for about $25-$30 I think! I'm not quite sure, because they were a birthday present from my brother. They are still at Target and also come in bright blue color.
My earrings were $2 from one of those little carts at a mall in San Antonio, Tx.

This is my best friend Jess! She is such an amazing person and inspiration to me. We have been through it all! Hard times and good times, but no matter what we are always there for eachother!<3
My company! Those red heels are mine btw.;) I let her borrow them. They're from Target!
Recieved a $500 scholarship from my dance team director! Truly blessed!
