New Facial Goodies!

Hey guys! Long time no blog post! School is no joke and I've been putting a lot of my time into studying and doing videos. Hopefully I can do better in the future, so my blog won't be so dead. Alrighty so a few weeks ago my mom and sister gave me a few skin care products that I could try out. One product is a whitener, another is a moisturizer/suncreen, and the other two are just moisturizers.

*TimeBalm Skincare Juniper Oil-Free Face Moisturizer
*Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream
*Dr. Fred Palmer Skin Whitener
*Simple Vital Vitamin Day Cream

This moisturizer also has a very subtle smell. I actually haven't used this one much, because there's no point in mixing a bunch of moisturizers together. [That leads to peeling and I am not about to bring on another problem that I never deal with!] On the bottle it says that it promotes an even complexion, so when I start to get into it a little more, hopefully it will do just that.
This Simple product has an SPF of 15 and it basically works to protect and moisturize your face. It has a very subtle scent that is not overpowering. It doesn't weigh down my face. From what I can tell it is doing the job I need it to do. I'm actually not an out-doorsy kind of gal, so I'm making this judgement from all the times I actually go outside.
Now this product is like my HOLY GRAIL of skin whiteners. For those who don't know I have A LOT of acne scarring, so I'm starting to experiment with skin whiteners and toners, because my skin is looking terrible. I'm trying to repair it as much as I can as I go into my twenties. I apply this last after I do my nightly routine and I go to bed with it. It is a bit greasy, but I just wash it off when I wash my face in the morning. Because I have scars all over my face, I apply it all over my face. My scars have definitely darkened and I wish I had a before and after picture so I can prove to myself that I'm not imagining the results. Because I applied it all over my face the natural skin color did slightly change from my body's skin color. LET ME TELL YOU!! Finding a new foundation that looks natural without being too dark or too light has been absolutely horrible. I would literally sit in Target or Walmart, dab on like 12 different shades, take one home, put it on and go to school, look like an IDIOT, come home, and take it back. One time, I was so embarrassed I had to take it back to the store between one of my classes, because I was so self-conscious. I looked like a ghost one day and an orange bimbo the next. My face color eventually went back to the correct-ish shade and I went back to my old foundation. Also when my face went back to normal, my dark spots didn't! All in all, this product is ahhhmazing, and if you have any scars I would definitely recommend this product.
This Garnier product has the best smell out of all of the products I listed. It's subtle, but also refreshing. I love the coldness feeling it has when I apply it to my face. The texture is like a gel, but looser. Idk how to describe it, but I like the feeling of it. Its only job is to give your face a little moisture, and it definitely feels like it's doing its job.

If you decide to give these products a try, let me know what you think about them!
See you soon in another blog post.
